My Favorite Heels At The Moment

Carrie Bradshaw had many questionable quirks but one thing I am completely, 100% aligned with her is her obsession with shoes. Okay, maybe spending $40,000 on Manolo Blahniks is pushing it a little, but a girl can empathize how one might curate that type of debt. I’m a lover of all shoes, however, and while I will focus on the best high heels for this article, I casted my net across the internet’s most fashionable corner and pulled together chic high heels from YSL, Reformation, Cult Gaia, and more. And of course I’m including a number of more affordable heels too — ones I have currently sitting in my shopping basket, might I add.

Now that the weather is warming up, it’s the perfect time to freshen your wardrobe with more sun-friendly shoes. We no longer have to drag our heavy lug soles from point A to B, but rather strut some pointy toes from brunch to rooftop bars. Remember that beautiful shoes take you to beautiful places and bring out a level of confidence in you that basic shoes just don’t. So shop these best high heels below, and walk into Spring with your best foot forward.

Ferragamo has been sitting rent-free in my mind ever since they released the Eva Pump. This bow-embellished kitten heel is slowly making itself comfortable in the crooks of my brain, too.

I’m always rather impressed with the shoes from Reformation. I think they’re at the right intersection of quality, price, and style.

Considering how affordable Mango shoes are, they’re quite cute and long-lasting. The label always has its finger on the pulse where trends are concerned, so you’re guaranteed a stylish shoe that doesn’t break the bank.

At Cult Gaia, you find wearable art! Just look at this sculptural calla lily shoe. While I can’t speak on how comfortable it is, it will certainly be a conversation starter at parties.

Sequins, sequins, and sequins — they always look chic and add a bit of texture to an otherwise mundane shoe.

A Saint Laurent pump is just a wardrobe must-have for it-girls. I love this casual (but super high) heel that can be dressed up and down.

This shoe definitely took inspiration from Miu Miu’s viral slingback pumps, but added its own twist on the design.

Meanwhile, this Mango shoe took notes from Gucci. The block heel promises a little more comfort, which is necessary considering its a shoe for everyday outfits rather than nights out.

Another great heel for everyday looks is this option from Aeyde. Wear it with some baggy jeans or tights and a mini skirt. She adds a touch of edge to your fit.

I’m in love with this olive green color (and always have been). It is and isn’t a neutral, technically, and therefore can be styled in many different ways.

This Tony Bianco shoe also garnered a little fame. She’s chic and casual all at once, and previous shoppers have been delighted with how much wear they’ve gotten out of it.

Again, wearable ART. Cult Gaia loves to have fun and create pieces for the person with the big personality.

It took some time to warm up to this toy pump from Loewe. But after I separated it from the Minnie Mouse reference, I grew to appreciate the unique look of the shoe.

A classic design and an acceptable heel-height, this pump from Zara is good to have in your rotation for days when you just need a heel that works with every outfit.
