The Best Boxer Shorts for Women TO SHOP THIS SUMMER
There was a time in the early 2000’s where you would frequently find me rocking a pair of soffe shorts underneath some baggy pants. This was some strange attempt for me to 1) keep my baggy men’s pants up and 2) look like I’m wearing boxers. What was this little youngling thinking? Not a 100% sure… but I liked men’s style and somehow tried to mimic it with what minimal fashion options there were for women. Fast forward to now, and there are PLENTY of baggy pants for women to shop. And now, we even have boxers for women. Wow, look how far we have come. Little me would be so ecstatic to know this would be in the future.
That all being said, we’re still at the beginning of this boxer trend. You probably wont find that many womxn rocking these lovely shorts around town yet. And those that do get their hands on them probably spend more time wearing them indoors. However you wish to enjoy this look, I thought it my duty to compile a list of all the brands that have taken it upon themselves to craft more boxer shorts for women, and present them to you. I’ll start out with Commesi, as this was the first brand that popped into my attention. I’m also a proud owner of the Classica shorts, and wear them an embarrassingly high amount. There are so many ways you can style them - with a button down T shirt, under some baggy jeans, or with a bikini to the beach.
Danish brand M-Kae makes more than just boxers, so I encourage you to check out their whole catalogue. That being said, these soft blue shorts and matching button downs have stolen my heart. From the looks of it, these are cut a little longer than the ones from Commesi, so pick and choose your preferred style and go with that brand.
Even Frankie Shop has come out with a line of boxer shorts. Made more for wearing outside of the house than in, perhaps you are getting more bang for your buck with the versatility. Find your favorite look with the range of colors these come in!
As soon as I found this brand, my hands began to tremble towards my wallet… down girl… You can even find them as boxer briefs, if that’s more your style. This brand has got that lazy sunday cool girl vibe down to the T, and I must say, I am OBSESSED.
