Everything to Pack in Your Carry-On FOR A LONG FLIGHT
Going somewhere? I sure wish I was. Despite having just been to Utah, that itch to get on a plane is still massively present. Does it ever go away? I’m convinced lately that it does not, no matter what kind of ointments (read: trips) I take. I find any excuse to go travel, never letting my suitcase collect too much dust before I haul it out of my closet again. I’m pretty proud of myself for successfully managing to leave the state at least two to four times a year, even with a full time job. Therefore, I’d like to think I’ve mastered the whole skill of travel — and I don’t just mean I make great itineraries (although that I do, too). From the moment I open up my luggage to skidaddling my way to the airport, enjoying my time on the flight and making it to my Airbnb, I’ve got the whole art mastered to a T. One of the most important aspects of having an enjoyable journey is packing your carry-on luggage right. For the sake of the article, I’m going to focus on just the little personal item you schlepp over your shoulder (aka purse) rather than your mini suitcase. I’m talking about the bag you put under the seat in front of you for easy access, rather the one you store in the overhead compartment. Here is everything you should pack in your carry-on during long flights.
