The Best Fall Shoes to Go STEP ON SOME FOLIAGE IN

Fall happens to be my second favorite season of the year (after summer). Temperatures aren’t extreme, fashion is pristine, and the foliage looks like a dream. While I know many associate January 1st with new beginnings, for me it happens in October, right as the leaves begin to drop. It’s probably because the new school year always started around this time, but there’s just something about the changing of the seasons — closing the summer chapter and readying ourselves for the winter — that just feels like a harbinger of new and exciting things.

And while summer may be my favorite season for just living life, fall is by far the best time for fashion. Boots with mini skirts, blazers with mary janes — it’s the time of the year where you can really get away with wearing anything you want without either sweating up a storm or freezing your bones off. But if you’ve been feeling a little uninspired (fall has been a little late over here on the east coast), then take a look at the below fall shoes. These cuties are sure to get you hyped for some apple picking or foliage peeping. Take a look around, shop some new booties, and let’s meet for some hot cider after ;)

You can’t tell me these boots don’t scream fall. The cozy shearling and the low heel look extremely inviting, giving you comfort, warmth, and style in one go.

Price: $650

I know the return of the ballet flat was a little controversial, but I fully stand behind Miu Miu bringing balletcore into the scene again. The color and style of this number are just to die for.

Price: $187

Assuming you already have a pair of standard loafers, allow me to introduce you to these fluffy lug sole options. You could easily wear them into winter, giving you more wear out of the stylish shoe.

Price: $160

I love sleek and classic styles, but with a designer twist. You’ll never grow out of the elegant style, and the nappa leather ensures you’ll be comfortable through the years.

Price: $1,350

It’s certainly not too cold to wear heels still in the fall, particularly through the many holiday events that occur. I’m loving this brown suede option that will pair well with just about anything.

Price: $330

Of course, we couldn’t forget the knee-high boots. Available in seven colors including some in different textures and finishes. Personally, I find the classic black the most universal.

Price: $200

It’s this seasons hottest shoe: the Miu Miu slingbacks. While I would have loved the highlight the burgundy ones, it looks like this and the ivory is all that’s left. Grab ‘em before they sell out again!

Price: $1,290

Sock boots! How can you not love them. They’re comfy, stylish, and easy to pair with straight cut jeans.

Price: $199
