These Are All the Best Treehouses YOU CAN RENT ON AIRBNB

There’s no time like time spent in a treehouse. At least, that’s what I romanticize about every other day or so (is that a normal amount?). Winter, spring, summer and fall — no matter the season, the charm that comes with a cabin held up by mighty trees is simply undeniable. So you can imagine my delight when I found out that Airbnb has a category you can click on specifically dedicated to rentable treehouses. That’s right, for those of us who missed the key childhood memory of building a shack inside a tree when they were younger, can make up for lost time and rent a big-boy/girl playhouse for a limited time. Especially with the last few years we had, the emphasis on disconnecting with society and connecting with nature has been amplified significantly. Companies like Getaway were started (can’t wait to try this myself) in order to give us a little breather from city life. Let’s not forget this importance just because the world looks to be getting back on its feet again.

Naturally, I took it upon myself to spend way too much time on Airbnb browsing through the best treehouses to rent for a weekend. Below, a compilation of listings I hope to stay in one day.

Featuring a hot tub, outdoor swing, and a wrap around deck, this wooden cabin tucked in between trees is a true dream. It offers a luxurious amenities for those who don’t wish to go full-nature mode. The space is beautiful, but just note that it’s not all that high up in a tree!

New York has some of the most beautiful nature, once you leave the city. This residency takes a modern approach to treehouses. It’s still mostly made of wood, but then appliances, lighting, and design is beautifully sleek.

This treehouse impressively has three stories, where he interior balances between modern and cozy cabin. Big windows allow for ample sunlight to peak through, and a hot tub can even be found on one of the porches.

This treehouse sits right next to a pool, which you have full access to. But who cares about a pool when you have a full 180 degree window view of the sky and the surrounding trees? Enjoy the sounds and views of nature as you snooze to sleep.

There were so many beautiful pictures of this treehouse that it was hard to pick just one (please go look at the picture of this under the milky way!) Out of all the options, this almost cartoon-like treehouse in Warren, Vermont is the first I want to visit.

This fairytale like treehouse deserves a good click-through on the pictures as well. There are two bath tubs (not to be mistaken with a hot tub) outside for a romantic little bathing session. Enjoy a fully-immersed-in-nature experience as you have a 360 degree view around you.
