I was quite late to the world of nail art. Having grown up playing the piano, my mother always made sure our nails were short and kept natural. It never really bothered me, I wasn’t too intrigued by nails to begin with. Fast forward to now, I, an adult, have taken up an interest in having beautifully lacquered nails.

It wasn’t until I actually got my nails done professionally that I understood the hype around it. It makes you feel put together. It also makes you feel like a bad bitch, if I do say so myself. Now I don’t always treat myself with a trip to the salon, but for a nice occasion - a trip to somewhere enchanting, a birthday, or simply reaching a milestone in life - we are bringing our hands to the salon, ladies. And we’re getting the good stuff. The following nails have been saved up on my feed, serving for inspiration for the next time I get my nails done.
