Welcome to Florré’s Fall Shop! If you’re not new here, you’d know that I’m a summer girl, through and through. But I repeatedly promise that, as much as I attempt to elongate my sun-kissed days, once that first autumn leaf drops I’ll embrace fall wholeheartedly. This morning I walked my dog through prospect park and bathed in the scent of moist foliage on the floor. The cooling air, the smell or rubbery rainboots, and the fresh leaves on the ground was a welcoming sensation that clearly marked the arrival of fall. Now I’ve got my candles lit, my apple muffin next to me, and my “autumn long drive” playlist playing on my Google Home. The time has come: fashion’s favorite season has officially commenced.
Florré’s Fall Shop features favorites from Farfetch, Fwrd, and more (there’s your tongue-twister for the day). Suede plays a big role this season, finding its way onto jackets, dresses, shoes, and bags. I’m sticking to Autumn’s signature colors, namely burgundy, brown, and navy as much as possible, but sprinkling some brighter hues as well. You’re probably not surprised to see some Florré classics, like Polo Ralph Lauren, Anthropologie, and Madewell, but big name designers are truly leading the game where fall dressing is concerned. It’s impossible not to give a nod to Loewe’s Skirt-Knit Trousers or Toteme’s infamous (and frequently sold out) riding boot.
