I Tried the Viral $60 Zara Dress. IT WAS AWESOME
In the world of le Tiki toki, there’s a gorgeous gorgeous (originally) pink dress that took over like a storm. News outlets from Cosmopolitan to Harper’s Bazaar to People magazine have already covered this viral sensation, and it was time for me to get my hands on one as well.
Since pink isn’t really my color (no hate tho), I was happy to find that Zara had expanded their color choices to white, green, and purple as well. And because I’m basic, I went for the white one.
Before purchasing this dress, I had been on the market for a perfect midi length dress since… a year? I’m not sure why, but it seemed impossible to find the right one (I’m v picky). Then I put this baby on and it was, for a lack of a better word, fireworks.
The straps and open back are clearly Jacquemus inspired, while the cups in the front are riding the Bridgerton-fashion “trend”. Put them both together and *chef’s kiss*.
One thing that I found strange however was that the color version have a very clear open back, whereas the white version comes with and extra bit of clasps in the back. I took a pair of scissors and snip snapped them off immediately.
